In the Wake of the Great Collapse is an arcane dive into the chasms within. Laurentian Tides takes these raw emotions and weaves them into tapestries of rage and ingenuity. This album reflects the constantly ignored realizations of one's self and society. Stringing the chaos of irrationality with the harmony of logic, Laurentian Tides dove into mathematic and environmental concepts to gain inspiration to further their desired sound. From their song Atmosphere; where LT transports the listener through this 3part movement as if they were sailing through the eye of a hurricane, to instrumentals like Blatancy of Obscurities, where melancholy overtones give way to a reflective solace. This album has a wide ranging emotional and sonic spectrum to satisfy anyone.
